Inspiration behind ShopSee

We are Simple Matters Ltd., a UK based team of retail and software specialists.

After watching our daughters struggle to chat with their friends about items while they were shopping, we turned our eyes to social shopping.

We knew how important a second opinion was to them, but couldn’t believe how difficult it was to come by. They switched between chat apps, social media chats, web pages and phone calls to be able to show their friends what they wanted to buy. It was frustrating, slow and ineffective.

When it came to critical buying moments there was no simple way of inviting their friends along for the trip, showing them exactly what they were looking at, or discussing it with them in real time.

We searched for a solution. When we couldn’t find one, we created it: ShopSee.
